Following a sudden rush of blood and a really Senior moment I decided that I was going to raise as much money as possible to help Yogi ( I must really ask him why they call him yogi!!) by cycling from Lands End to John O Groats. Affectionatly known from now on as LEJOG.
My aim over the next couple of months is to use this blog to help you keep up with the planning. Tell you who has helped and try and get as a much advice and help as possible.Being overweight middle aged and awaiting a hip replacement makes it all the more interesting!!!!!!!

Firstly lets start at the beginning ( hope theyve got spellchechk on this thing!!) and thank Dan at the Daily Post for helping me set up this blog.Being a non techi I didnt have a clue how to get this thing going but Dan took two clicks and I was away. Diolch Dan.
This week Im concentrating on drawing out a wish list and then I can start planning. I suppose a bike would seem to be th e logical first step...................................

At 11 years of age, Bry went to Ysgol Y Berwyn Y Bala. On his school blazer he had the school badge! A few months later he moved to Ysgol Brynhyfryd, Ruthin. He still wore his old Ysgol Y Berwyn blazer...then someone said to him that Y.Y.B stood for Ysgol Yogi Bear....they dropped the 'Ysgol' and the 'Bear'...and he was stuck with the name Yogi! Sorry to disappoint..but basically that's how he got his nickname!
